“This is His Commandment, that we unselfishly love and seek the best for one another…”
1st John 3:23
Love is Good Law,
A command:
It's belief
is a simple concept –
Friendship,
The kind
that assaults your memory,
With a
musky fervor,
Like the
scent of pheromones…
Thrills your
most sensitive membranes,
Inside out,
For some
inexplicable reasons,
As it
masterfully and playfully,
Rolls down
towards you,
Props
itself up,
And stares
at your eyes,
Expectantly,
Like you’re
the best fairy tale,
Yet to be
written.
Aah! Love
is beautiful;
To the simple-
minded,
But far
from being a cliché,
It bears a
sting of felicity,
Supercharged
with a good pact of intent,
Appealing not
just to desire -
Superficial
cloak,
But also
conclusive in commitment;
With a pinch
of madness,
Added to assorted
ingredients of passion,
And extraordinary
affection,
Love becomes
an acquired taste,
To an
ardent paramour,
A peculiar Law,
With a
spine-chilling aroma,
Strong as
death…
It’s
beautiful and bold,
Impeccable,
Ev’n as it
grows old,
Along the
caprice of time,
Love is an
irrefutable truth,
Unambiguously,
Cannot be one
hundred percent,
As things
get considerably worse,
Before they
get better,
Then sticking
to friendship,
Minimizes all
other odds,
The odds
of falling out,
And highlights
the possibilities,
Of miniature
souls –
Little maids
and lads,
To love
and nurture.
Verily I say
unto you,
He that
loves this Law,
Enjoys the
feel of this,
He that
loves this Law,
Gets his
fill of it.
